TORONTO ART & ARTISTS GUIDE
Linda Mollenhauer.
Volume 11 Number 1.
Art students, here is your new best friend: a specialized art guide to Toronto. This is the kind of information you often need but can seldom find all in one place, including sources for supplies, tools, art books and related literature; places where one may see works of art of all kinds, and places in which to have one's own work displayed; places to live, eat, study, work and/or socialize; all geared to the interests and pocketbook of the student, visiting artist, or art aficionado. A unique and friendly feature following all the other helpful hints and suggestions is a listing of various other guidebooks to Toronto and environs of different perspective and emphasis. One warning note: this is the sort of information that inevitably dates rapidly. Some of the prices listed, for example that of the TTC Transit Pass, have increased since these listings were compiled. Also, restaurants and specialty shops in Toronto tend to be evanescent: check their current status before setting out.
