Exciting accounts of people, places, and events in Alberta, British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories prior to 1900 can be found here, e.g. the story of Emily Murphy, Canada's first woman senator, an account of the founding of the Bluebell Mine in British Columbia, the rags to riches story of the Dunsmuirs of Vancouver Island, the history of Canmore, Alberta, a tale of the "fool's gold" of Mosquito Creek, and an exciting story from the early days of the North West Mounted Police.
