SPECIAL OCCASIONS AND EVENTS: HALLOWE'EN
Robert B. Mansour, 1981.
Volume 11 Number 4.
"A Magical Night" provides a poor explanation of why we have Hallowe'en. "Hallowe'en Safety" gives a good, simple explanation of the need for Hallowe'en safety. One criticism: the rule that one should wear make-up or cosmetics for masks is not adhered to, as the visuals of the main characters show them with masks on! Recommended with reservations. From the Evaluation Committee of the Board of Education for the City of North York. |
