Produced "live in concert with the Mammoth Band," it contains some old favourites from their previous records, some new arrangements of familiar songs, some new ones, and some sung in French. The old favourites include "Tingalayo," "Five Little Monkeys" and "One elephant, deux elephants" from the record of the same name, and "Where Is Thumb-kin" from In the Schoolyard. There is "Old Texas," \#hich has new words to the old tume of "Home on the range," new songs such as "A biscuit" and "Les Raftsmen," which was sung partly in French. The songs on this record include a wide variety of moods and style that will appeal to children. Sharon, Lois, and Bram again use a wide variety of instruments in their record. My daughter, who is in grade 3, loved this record, singing along lustily with the words clutched in her eager little hands. My son in Kindergarten, who is too young to read, sang along with the repeat -after-mes such as "Old Texas" and "Puffer-bellies." Unfortunately, one has to have One elephant, deux éléphants and In the Schoolyard for "additional words and actions" to some of the songs.
