The emphasis is on simple yet imaginative projects done with inexpensive materials easily available at home. Step-by-step instructions are so well illustrated with coloured ink sketches that young children would be successful in their gift-making attempts. In addition, one chapter has never-fail, easy recipes for such products as salt ceramics, home-made paints, make-up, etc., all required in the home that has grade school children.
