This is more than an analysis of separatism. It is a fair survey of English-French relations. It does not define separatism or explore its economic or constitutional implications. It also assumes that separatism is a Quebec-only phenomenon. It would be best used with advanced level students because of the vocabulary and pace and the assumptions made regarding student background. Recommended.
