PEANUT BUTTER IS FOREVER
Melanie Zola.

Volume 12 Number 5
Michelle's problems began when first her sister and then her mother forbade her to continue her friendship with "Klutzy." "Klutzy" is Michelle's best friend, but she is also very homely looking and not popular. Michelle and Klutzy are going into grade 7, and Michelle's family did not want her to become a social outcast. Melanie Zola's first novel deals, in a light-handed manner, with the theme of loyalty, duration of friendship, and changing relationships in the lives of teenagers. The book is easy to read, is illustrated, and has a good-sized print. It should prove popular in a school library, and the title is catchy enough to attract the attention of young readers.
