It is a mini textbook in handy road map form. The "map" side gives the reader detailed information about the climate, geology, landforms, coastal regime, soils, water characteristics, and plants of Nova Scotia's various regions. The reverse side provides written descriptions and colour photographs and drawings of various topics including habitats, birds, animals, and plants.
