This kit is a comprehensive set of study and discussion materials with questions suitable for library research and assignments for elementary graphics and sketches. The directions are clear and simple, and each "card" is ready for duplicating as a worksheet, so that the teacher is free to select those desired for use. More marked differentiation among the types of rail cars would be an improvement. There is one glaring error—the famous "last spike" was driven by Donald Smith, not William Lyon MacKenzie [sic].
