Volume 16 Number 6
The seventh volume of ABCMA, which is planned as an eight-volume set, covers the works of Marian Engel, Anne Hébert, Robert Kroetsch and Thomas Raddall. This volume follows the same format as the earlier volumes. Each bibliography contains two parts—works by the author and works on the author. The references to works about the author, which are annotated, frequently include quotations. The text is in English; quotations are in French when this is the language of the original. An index to critics follows each bibliography. The entries appear to be complete and to cover all types of print and audiovisual material. This reference set is designed for use at the post-secondary level. Schools that have purchased earlier volumes of the set will want to purchase this volume. Schools in which there is a strong emphasis on Canadian literature would find this set useful.
