According to the back of this book, Scary Poems has already sold twenty thousand copies.* I feel that most people are familiar with the poetry. The slimy, scary, dreadful, awful monsters, creatures and happenings have captivated any youngster who has heard me read this book. One of my favourites is "The Pocket." The new illustrations are the factor in this re-issuing of a well-known book. They are full colour, comical and horrible. The children will love them.
