Volume 19 Number 5 1991 October Women who have chosen careers in fields traditionally thought of as "men's" jobs are the stars here. Two are presented on each tape and the profiles are excellent in describing intricate and intriguing work. Voice-over narration establishes the nature of the profession and the location of the work, and introduces the scientist. Then, the subject of each piece contrib­utes a number of "talking-head" segments interspersed with continued narration and long shots revealing the place of work and the scientist at home. The format offers no excitement, but the dedication and enthusiasm of the scientists are clear as are the nature and purpose of the research each pursues. These tapes provide strong support to any science, women's studies, career-choice, or "Challenge and Change" programs.
