INTRODUCING REPTILES
Pamela M. Hickman
Reviewed by Peter Croskery
Volume 22 Number 4
This is the fifth book in the Federation of Ontario Naturalist s' "Hands on Nature" series. Like the four previous publications (Introducing Birds , Introducing Trees, Introducing Insects, Introducing Flowers, Ferns, Fungi & More¹) , this book is designed for teachers working with Junior students. Following the exact format of the previous publications, Introducing Reptiles contains activities, reproducible student activity sheets, fact sheets and a large four colour poster. This book complements the others in the series. As with the previous books my concerns are similar. The lack of both a glossary and a listing of additional resources is noticeable. However, the book is well done and highly recommended. Peter Croskery is a biologist, freelance writer and instructor specializing in environmental issues in Grimsby, Ontario
