excerpt: Sister in the kitchen.
This charming tale allows the reader a glimpse into a typical day for sisters. There is fun and adventures, but there is also the occasional squabble. These sisters play together, making cookies in the kitchen, dressing up, playing with boxes and reading. But despite the fun, big sister is unhappy to find her little sister in her room and then playing with her doll. The story ends with the sisters fast asleep, sharing a bed.
Me and My Sister is recommended for preschools and public libraries. This title is a great gift for sisters everywhere. Highly Recommended Catherine Hoyt is the Public Services Librarian for the York Library Region in the province of New Brunswick. Catherine is currently on maternity leave with first child, Lena Anne.
