CM . . . . Volume XX Number 3 . . . . September 20, 2013
excerpt:
Nicholas Oldland is the author of three other books about Beaver, Moose and Bear, the deliciously delightful trio consisting of Big Bear Hug, Making the Moose Out of Life and The Busy Beaver. As always, his whimsical illustrations will enthral young readers.
When disaster struck and the canoe tipped over, they still couldn't work together. After a good night's sleep, they realized that working together was the only way to get home safely, and they did. It was another good life lesson learned by the three friends. Friendship means sharing and compromise, and when we do that, things will work out for the best. Highly Recommended. Ian Stewart teaches at Cecil Rhodes School in Winnipeg, MB.
