excerpt:
Music is for Everyone is a rhyming story that rhythmically carries the reader through a wide variety of genres of music and the different ways one can be involved in creating music, whether it’s singing, playing an instrument, dancing or being involved in the story telling of a singalong. This book includes a few forms of religious expression in music and crosses decades of popular musical styles. It ranges from contemporary to classical and appeals to every music lover’s tastes. Music is for Everyone is bright and vibrant and would be very attractive for young kids. The illustrations are very well done and vary from page to page to match each of the styles of the music being portrayed. The story is fun and light-hearted and would be a fun read with an audience of children. Music is for Everyone is bright and vibrant and would be very attractive for young kids.
