Description:

The Canadian Space Agency is helping educators bring space into the classroom. The Agency ensures that teachers, and students have full and convenient access to a wide range of information materials and resources about Canada's space-faring activities.

Established in partnership with well-recognized institutions actively involved in promoting space science education and activities, the Space Resource Centres bring a wide pool of knowledge and resources to bear, in support of the educational community and in raising general awareness of Canada's space program.

Evaluation:

The Canadian Space Agency provides information on a wide range of space topics, makes available an array of teaching tools, aids, sample lesson plans, and teachers' guides, keeps teachers and educators well-informed about sources and resources that are available to them, acts as a focus for student assignments and projects, and nurtures space science activities through workshops and seminars for teachers.
