This slender volume of 20 traditional English carols contains lyrics and arrangements for piano and guitar-chord symbols. The selections include "The First Noel", "The Holly and the Ivy", "Silent Night", and "Away in a Manger". Each carol is attractively illustrated with Victorian postcards and illustrations. Although other Christmas song collections are much larger and this collection has no Canadian content, the attractive volume would make a nice personal gift or an additional purchase for a school or public library.
