Busy Bear Takes a Trip was originally written in French, but it is a
simple little story and loses nothing in translation. Children will have fun
helping Busy Bear choose clothes and accessories that he will need for various
kinds of weather: hot, cold, or rainy. Also he will need special clothes for
different activities such as swimming at the beach, mountain climbing, or
swimming in the pool of a holiday resort. Readers can dress him in suitable
clothing for each occasion. Reusable stickers of clothing and accessories are
included in the book. A closet, with hangers and drawers where the clothes can
be tidily put away is just inside the back cover.
The book has sturdy covers, bright illustrations on each page and large clear
type. It would be an excellent choice to amuse a child on a car trip, in a
dentist's waiting room, or at home on a rainy afternoon.
