excerpt:
Sharon Stewart has produced a new anthology of stories, usually around 20 pages in length, that will appeal to readers who enjoy a dark chill. The villains in the stories range from mythological terrors (Anubis, the Egyptian God who led the souls of the dead to the underworld) to virulent computer viruses and voices from the grave. The stories are fast-paced and will attract not only readers of horror but also non-readers who will be captured by the unusual, dark, and darkly humourous storylines. This is a perfect follow up to last year's anthology, Be Afraid: Tales of Horror. Recommended. Betsy Fraser is the Youth Services Librarian with Calgary Public Library.
