Back on Track!
Back on Track!
The Glam Prix Racers and their motos have many talents, from creativity to engineering skill! This is this season’s largest Glam Prix team!
This bot trio has arms and legs that get smaller and bigger. Sparklecharge lets them transform. These bots should avoid salt water, very hot weather, time warps, black opals, unicornish hens, and electric rainbow eels.
The Cyclops Camper Crew are slow, steady, single focused, and at risk for easy hypnosis. They’re new to the Glittergear Island race community, but already known for their relentless snacking habits.
Back on Track! is the second book in Deanna Kent’s and Neil Hooson’s graphic novel trilogy “Glam Prix Racers” that focuses on the world of magical competitive racing.
After winning Race 1 of Glittergear Island’s most prestigious Cup, Mio and the Glam Prix Racers must once again go head-to-head with the Vroombots and the Cyclops Camper Crew. This time around, Race 2 takes place in the Soft Swirl City, and it is just as competitive as the first.
The Vroombots are up to their old tricks by trying to steal the motos’ sparklecharge and sabotaging the race at all costs. Not only do they also unleash a genie from its bottle, they use sticky tire spikes, steal all the glittergum power balls, use a heat blaster to trap others in the Toffee Tunnel, and even use decoys to confuse the other racers. Throughout all the mayhem, the Glam Prix Racers manage to maintain their positivity and come up with creative solutions to all their problems. Despite losing to the Vroombots in Race 2, both teams are currently tied entering the third and final race which will be determined in book three.
Back on Track!, a fun sequel to Glam Prix Racers, takes young readers on a wild ride. It is action-packed, fast paced and full of amazing illustrations that will have fans asking for more. Once again, Mio, Flipp, Unee, Deelux, and Sooki are the stars of this graphic novel. Not only do they make a great team, but they also display excellent sportsmanship by helping a member of the Vroombots team, thus showing everyone that winning isn’t everything. Now that Race 2 has been decided, I, for one, cannot wait for Race 3.
