Munsch More! A Robert Munsch Collection
In this collection, Scholastic has assembled six of Robert Munsch’s authored texts that were originally published between 1997 and 2004. All but one of the titles, Alligator Baby, the story of a humorous mixup that occurs when an expectant mother accidentally goes to the zoo as opposed to the hospital and brings home a series of animal babies, have been previously reviewed in CM.

Ribbon Rescue (www.cmreviews.ca/cm/vol6/no3/ribbonrescue.html)
Get Out of Bed! (www.cmreviews.ca/cm/vol18/no4/getoutofbed.html)
Mmm Cookies! (www.cmreviews.ca/cm/vol6/no21/mmmcookies.html)
Deep Snow (www.cmreviews.ca/node/562)
Sandwiched between four books illustrated by Munsch’s most frequent illustrator, Michael Marchenko, are two books illustrated by other artists, Ribbon Rescue, with art by Eugenie Fernandes, and Get Out of Bed!, in which the illustrations were done by Alan and Lea Daniel.
Munsch More! is a good addition to school and public libraries. Its hardcover format and larger page size make it most useful for library read-to group sessions, and its price, less than the cost of acquiring the six titles separately, makes it an economical home purchase.
